The SARA fair, which is in its fifth year, offers participants a dynamic agenda with diverse workshops, information sessions and discussions. In addition to its dedicated exhibition at the event, 2SCALE was also invited to join a special panel from the Netherlands on the topic of financial inclusion, where the program’s Financial Inclusion Specialist, N’tcha Gnamou, presented the inclusive financial models established through 2SCALE from 2012 onwards. 2SCALE involvement with SARA ensured that participants were given access to relevant case studies on incubating and accelerating inclusive agribusiness in Africa.
SARA also provides a perfect opportunity for businesses and organisations to form various business partnerships and connections with other potential actors in the agriculture sector. To leverage off this, The program invited three of its partners to join the 2SCALE stand where they shared their knowledge and exhibited their products. These partners included FAGRI from Burkina Faso, K'Chibo from Côte d'Ivoire and SCS from Mali.
Abem Ousmane, FAGRI's commercial agent reflected on SARA:
2SCALE's presence at SARA certainly provided ideal networking opportunities and new strategic connections were made. In addition to the exchange of ideas, the program connects with those who share its vision and already demonstrated potential for partnerships in the future.
